Common Questions
Can you install a light fitting I have already bought?
Yes — we are happy to fit customer-supplied fittings as long as they are suitable for the installation and comply with current regulations.
Do I need a new circuit for garden lighting?
In most cases yes — outdoor lighting should be on a dedicated RCD-protected circuit. We will advise during the quotation visit.
Can you install smart lighting?
Yes — we can install smart lighting systems including Philips Hue, LIFX and other smart home compatible systems.
Are fire-rated downlights necessary?
Fire-rated downlights are required in ceilings that form a fire barrier — for example between floors in a house. We will advise on the correct specification for your project.
