1. Services Provided

Brad Neil Electrical provides domestic electrical installation, testing, inspection and repair services to residential properties in Surrey and South West London. All work is carried out by a NICEIC registered Domestic Installer and certified to BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).

We are a domestic-only service. We do not carry out commercial electrical work.

2. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes are provided free of charge and without obligation. A written or verbal quote will be given before any work begins. The quoted price is the price you pay — we do not add charges after the fact unless additional work is agreed in writing during the job.

For fault-finding work, where the extent of the fault cannot be known in advance, we will agree a diagnostic rate with you before attending.

3. Certification and Compliance

All notifiable electrical work is registered with the relevant competent person scheme (NICEIC) and notified to the local authority under Part P of the Building Regulations. You will receive an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) or Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate (MEIWC) on completion of every job.

EICR reports are issued on the day of inspection and are valid for the period stated in the report (typically five years for rental properties, ten years for owner-occupied homes).

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property and the electrical installation. You confirm that you are the property owner or have the owner's permission for the work to be carried out.

For rental properties, you confirm that you have the legal right to commission electrical work and that any required tenant notifications have been made.

5. Liability

Brad Neil Electrical carries full public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out. We are not liable for pre-existing faults or defects in your electrical installation that were not caused by our work.

We are not liable for any consequential loss arising from electrical faults or failures that were not identified during an inspection carried out by us.
